Bawaal: Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan's film has a fresh release date; information included

Bawaal, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, was initially slated to hit theatres on April 7. However, it was stated in January that the film had been delayed owing to VFX and technical concerns. On Wednesday, director Nitesh Tiwari posted on his social media accounts the revised release date for their movie.

The hugely ambitious romance drama won't be released in theatres globally on October 6. The highest-grossing movie in India, Dangal, was directed by Nitesh Tiwari. On Twitter, he wrote, “My second association with Sajid sir and a rather intriguing one #BAWAAL starring @Varun dvn & #JanhviKapoor will hit the theatres on October 6th 2023.”

Varun and Janhvi will make their debut appearance on screen together in the upcoming film Bawaal. After the 2019 coming-of-age comedy-drama Chhichhore, which featured late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, Prateik Babbr, and Tushar Pandey among others, this would be the filmmaker's second time working with producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

The Nitesh Tiwari-directed film was filmed in a number of European cities, including Berlin, Paris, Poland, Amsterdam, Krakow, and Warsaw. Last year, a minor amount was also filmed in Lucknow. When the shooting was finished in August 2022, post-production work began.

Varun Dhawan hasn't revealed any of his next projects after Bawaal, but Janhvi is starring alongside Rajkummar Rao in the sports-themed movie Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. In the movie, which reunites the actress with Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl director Sharan Sharma, the actress will be seen as a cricket player.
