After Admitting His Conflict With Sunil Grover, Kapil Sharma

The conflict between Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma is well known. Once a cast member of Comedy Nights With Kapil, the latter quit the program in September 2018 after an alleged altercation between the two. Years later, Kapil has now spoken up about the subject and acknowledged that he once had a “quick temper”.

Sunil Grover, Chandan Prabhakar, Krushna Abhishek, and Ali Asgar all quit the program for various reasons, according to Kapil in a recent interview. He said that despite their disagreement with Sunil, he still gets along well with the other members.

“I never experienced insecurity. In reality, I've invited individuals I admired. I will confess that I used to have a temper. I was an extreme; it was in my DNA. I would feel intense affection, and I would truly lose my cool under pressure. But I've gotten better,” Kapil added, according to Pinkvilla.

“Some claim that I am competitive. Yet, because I am the only one, I have no rivals. Feel free to label me egotistical. If they don't want to work with me, find out why. Sure, Sunil and I did have a disagreement. But I get along well with the rest of them,” the actor-comedian said.

On Comedy Nights With Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show, respectively, Sunil Grover's fictitious characters Gutthi and Dr. Mashoor Gulati rose to prominence for the uninitiated. He allegedly quit the program, however, after a heated argument with presenter Kapil Sharma on a plane.

A prominent newspaper quoted Kapil as saying, “Chhoti chhoti woh cheezein jo hotey hai usse rishtey toh khatam nahin hotey hai (Little difficulties don't terminate relationships)” later in 2020. Sunil is such a skilled performer.

Yet when Sunil was admitted to the hospital the previous year after having a heart attack, Kapil responded by saying that he had been “shocked” to learn of Grover's bypass operation. Also, Kapil said that he had sent Sunil a message asking about his health.
